THE 2015 DUCK DERBY
Every September, we put on a Duck Derby at Covered Bridge Park. It's a fun, family-friendly day with prizes and giveaways, vendors, and loads of stuff for the kids to do. The afternoon culminates in a rubber duck race in the creek. The proceeds from this event benefit the New Britain Civic Association and another local community non-profit - we choose a different beneficiary each year. The 2015 Duck Derby will benefit the New Britain Food Larder.
